I have a question about storing wheat. I have 2 unopened buckets of wheat and have had them in my garage. So, they have gotten hot in the summer and frozen in the winter. Will this affect the wheat?

Also.. I read that oats have an order when they have gone bad.. is that the same with wheat berries? Can it go bad/rancid?

thanks for any help/ideas...

As long as moisture has been kept out of the buckets, your wheat should be fine. If the lids that come with the buckets (not the gamma seal) have been opened and re-closed, the wheat might not be good. But if the buckets have the original seal, it should be fine.
