If you are new to our co-op, here is a general overview.
Orders are taken on a quarterly basis. Normally, the order scedule is as follows:
December order ........... January delivery
March order ........... April delivery
June order ........... July delivery
September order ........... October delivery
Reminders will be emailed one to two weeks prior to the order deadline.
When placing an order, you should try to order enough supplies for three months' worth of baking. The amounts will vary depending on the size of your family, and how much you bake each week.
Orders should be submitted via email whenever possible. The easiest way to create your order is to log on to http://www.breadbeckers.com and follow these steps:
Select "PLACE ORDER HERE." That will bring up a list of categories you can jump to, or you can scroll down the page for the full price list.
Just click the box next to the product you need and then enter the amount. If you scroll down the entire list, you can easily select each item you want without having to jump from page to page.
Next, scroll down to the very bottom of the retail list and select "Put these in my cart!" This will bring up your shopping list with all the products you selected.
Select over your shopping list by left-clicking at the upper left of the page and dragging the mouse to the lower right corner of the page.
Right click on your mouse (or go to the top and click "Edit") and select "Copy" from the pull-down menu.
Open an email and paste the order in the email to me. (Again, right click on your mouse or go to "Edit"and "Paste.")
You can also just email the item numbers with a brief product description (i.e. "Organic Hard White, 6-gal") and quantity. The above method is easiest and quickest, as there is less room for error in typing the wrong numbers, and the description and quantity is automatically included for you.
You will be emailed an invoice for your approval. You can email me back with corrections or approval. Once you are satisfied that your order is correct, confirm it with an email, and snailmail me a check. Orders cannot be submitted until payment is received, as I pay Bread Beckers directly when the order arrives.
When a final delivery date has been set, I will email the date and time when you can pick up your order. Your order will be set aside with your invoice attached.
