Hi Jim,
Just testing the test! Posting seems to be working for me now. Initially I couldn't post. 
Just a question--do we have to check this forum daily to see new messages and topics, or is there a way to get a "daily digest" or some such thing forwarded to our e-mail address? I've never done a forum before, so am not sure how these things work yet. I will try to explore things more now that I know I have full access to things.

Julie:
First, when you are in a TOPIC that you are interested in, click on the button at the bottom left of the screen that says WATCH TOPIC (or UNWATCH TOPIC if you are already watching it).
Click on the "MY ACCOUNT" button on the home page, then the "PREFERENCES" tab, you shouild see a check box for "Always notify by e-mail when replies posted to topics you participated in"
Then, go to the "WATCHED FORUMS" tab; at the very top of the list is a choice to either receive an e-mail as the post to the forum is made, OR a Daily Digest. Then, make sure that the forum your interested in has a check mark next to it (or remove a check mark if you are not longer interested). Go to the bottom right of the screen and click on the SAVE button if you made any changes, and now should should be able to get the info you want by e-mail!
